With modern clear aligners and self-ligating bracket technology, the orthodontic force is controlled at a physiological level (gentle and continuous). You may only experience a mild sensation of tightness during the first 2–3 days after switching to a new tray or having your archwire adjusted. This is entirely normal and will quickly subside.
Extraction is not required in every case. At Sante, our treatment philosophy focuses on the maximum preservation of your natural teeth.
